Become an IKO Assistant Trainer

The IKO is looking for the next generation of Assistant Trainers. All Instructors Level 3 can apply to an Assistant Trainer Training Course (ATTC). Since January 2017 the Assistant standards have been updated, now there are very few people qualified to teach IKO Assistant Instructors which is an essential prerequisite to the Instructor Course. Take advantage now and start teaching Assistants upon completion of this course.
 
Enroll in a 5 day-live-course by completing the ATTC Application Form and emailing it to Jon Dodds the IKO Training Master at Kite Club Cabarete. All ATTC are run during a scheduled Assistant Instructor Courses (AITC-Plus). If you meet the prerequisites you will receive the ATTC manual guide you’ll need to study before the course. You must communicate directly with the the Training Master Jon Dodds to get prepared for the course.

Prerequisites IKO Assistant Trainer

  • Be Instructor Level 3 (IKO Level 2 Senior)
  • Be at least 24 years old
  • Have a valid MFA/CPR certificate
  • Be able to read, write and speak fluently the language in which the course is given
