Sustainable Cabarete Food Relief Aid

Hi Jon Dodds here your from Kite Club Cabarete. I just wanted to get in touch and to give you an update on what’s going on here in the Dominican Republic.

I’d like to thank all our kitesurfing community here in Cabarete and around the world for pulling together and really helping out the local community who have had a hard time with the shut down. The Dominican Republic has been locked down here since March and as such all flights, Hotels and tourism, including watersports have been put on hold. As you know many locals here rely on tourism for their income and with no work many families are going without. 

I’d like to ask you to help us support one of the great initiatives started to help with the crisis here, it’s called ‘Cabarete Sostenible’ these guys are helping out with food distribution to the most vulnerable people in need and are working with community leaders to create sustainable food sources going forward.
